Adam was born and raised in Winnipeg and Toronto.  He is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business and holds an MFA in Theatre Acting from Columbia University.  After graduating from Columbia, Adam landed a lead role on the Russian Television sensation Zona (“The Russian Oz”) and was nominated for best lead actor in a series at the Monte Carlo International Television Festival.  After sadly losing to Kiefer Sutherland for 24, Adam moved to Los Angeles where he has been working in television and film, mostly as a terrorist...sometimes as a dork...and recently a hipster.  Who knew?  Some of his TV credits include The Mentalist, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, How I Met Your Mother, You're the Worst, Rizzoli and Isles, Flash Forward, 24 (there it is again), among others.

Additionally, Adam has taken his skills to foreign lands.  Most recently, he has worked in Moscow, where he is shooting a Russian comedy feature titled Thriller's Family.  Before that, Adam played the lead in the feature Tsili, which was shot in Israel and directed by acclaimed director Amos Gitai.  Tsili made its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival where it wowed audiences.  The film was shot mostly in Yiddish, which Adam learned for the part.

As a writer, Adam has co-written two sitcom pilots, Comrades and Americanistan.  Both pilots were shot and are in development.
